It’s a cold winter day as I make my way downtown, after work, to go hunting. Dusk is coming fast. Between the skyscrapers and apartment complexes I can see the embers of daylight fade away as evening spreads itself across the sky. There’s an ice sculpture festival being held and I figure it would be a good opportunity to try and meet some lovely women to convince to cheat. After about 15 minutes of sloshing through ice puddles, salt and piles of dirty snow I reach my destination. It’s not an outrageously popular event, but its still drawn a reasonably sized crowd. As I make my way through the men, women, and children, I catch a glimpse of myself reflected in a window and smile.

The shine of the gel giving me an extra level of sleekness. My eyes, another great feature, according to the ladies that I’ve asked, stood out well in the thick, black rimmed glasses I was wearing. I’m heterochromatic. One eye a deep ocean blue, and the other a bright green. But the crown jewel of it all, in my humble opinion, was my fur coat. A Canadian lynx fur coat, with a thick, fluffy collar.

It went down to my waist and caught the eye of many who saw me. Which worked well, I wanted to be eye catching tonight. And I loved wearing fur.

Then I spot her, a lady. The lady. The one I know I’m going to have to talk to before the night is done. She’s got an air of elegance and sophistication around her. But in an understated, casual way. She’s dressed in a dark wool waist coat, with a red beanie on, and a light green scarf wrapped around her neck. I admire from afar, trying to see if she’s with anyone. It wouldn’t matter, I’d still have to approach, but if she had a man it would make it even hotter. And, like magic I see him appear. Wait a minute! That’s not just any man, that’s the guy I bullied throughout high school. Holy shit the little bitch actually got himself some hot piece of ass! But how? Well, it doesn’t matter now. I feel an electric current run through me. I’ve never cucked a kid I used to bully. Boy oh boy, this is going to be fun. I watch them share a hug and kiss, before she whispers something in his ears. Probably asking him for something from the concession stand. He disappears and I make my approach from behind.

She doesn’t see me until I announce my presence with a light tap on her shoulder. “It’s beautiful isn’t it?” I ask, pointing to the ice sculpture of a man in a chariot, “it’s one of my favorite festivals to go to.”
