The elevator ride back up to our hotel room is exhilarating, and the couple of drinks I’d had earlier was making time pass slower… or was it faster? All I knew was that my knees were weak, my feet were wobbling, and I appeared to have taken off my suit jacket at some point during the evening… I’ll have to figure out where I left that tomorrow.

My wife is next to me, perched up on the handrail of the elevator, her tongue in the mouth of a tall, handsome stranger we met at the bar only a couple of blocks over. He presses himself against her, her legs wrapped around his waist, his hands at her hips and slowly creeping around to her ass. Her hand moves from around his neck to reach out for me— reminding me that she knows I’m there.

We came to Vegas because we needed a break— a fun vacation where we could drink, let loose, and maybe get frisky on every surface of our hotel room. What neither of us had been anticipating is that we would meet Jacob— tall, broad shouldered, and athletic with curly blonde hair and blue eyes. That three of us would hit it off. The elevator door opens with a ding. An older couple raises an eyebrow at the sight in the car— Jacob helps her down and playfully smacks her ass as we shuffle into the hallway and, drunkenly laughing, make our way to our hotel room.

As I fumble with the keycard, the two of them have their hands all over each other again.
