The evolution these unusual plants took a rare turn, adapting to the depleted soil and large fauna that share its habitat.
Similar to the carnivorous plants that have evolved in many places on Earth, these vines supplement their nutrients by preying on animals, most often by trapping and digesting them. However, nature being what it is, most animals learned, or evolved, to avoid the dangerous plants. So, the plants adapted as well: What better way to ensure that your food will keep coming back than willing prey? One way or another, the once-carnivorous plants evolved to adapt to another source of nutrients: Sexual emissions from passing animals.
By perfectly mimicking the appearance, texture, even the smell of a wet, eager pussy, many carnivorous plants are now classified as "cock-milkers". These plants have adopted a wide variety of strategies for extracting nutrients from males. Some simply expose an orifice and wait for a male to pass by, while others resort to... more aggressive strategies.
The most dangerous of these cock-milkers have evolved only little from their carnivorous roots, lying in ambush for an inattentive male to walk over their camouflaged opening, trapping them as they tumble into the slick, warm pitcher. Inside, the writhing vines wrap around the unwitting male, immobilizing him. Those same vines writhe and twist until they find his member, the source of their food.
Once the vines have firmly taken hold of the male's organ, they begin secreting a powerful cocktail of aphrodisiacs, muscle relaxants, and other drugs intended to ensure the male struggles as little as possible. Then, dozens of smaller, specialized tentacles emerge from the pitcher, writhing and sliding against his skin, wrapping around his now-engorged cock, and even against his other orifices, ensuring the maximum amount of stimulation to guarantee a fruitful outcome.
The unfortunate male can be expected to orgasm almost immediately due to the sudden over-stimulation, but the plant is not nearly done. Over the course of several hours, and in a few recorded cases, days, the male can be expected to release as much semen during his short captivity as he normally would over the course of a week or more.
Once the male has been entirely drained, the plant deposits him back on the surface, dehydrated but otherwise unharmed. Although the male does not receive any obvious survival benefit to this (besides the pleasure of constant stimulation and orgasms), many males have been observed returning to sites known to host many of these pitcher plants, apparently aware of the danger and forsaking it for the chance to be trapped once again.
