The Kitsune In Question

Adelynn Viel. For as long as I can remember I've been rather fond of sex. Being a lithe-bodied, seldom-seen-outside-their-homeland kitsune has certain perks, after all. Troublesome, when my position as a Prince means I'm not to sate these desires. Ah, Ara Tel. 'The Gilded Tomb,' some call it, 'Jewel of Wikel,' others might. It's a bustling city built into a mountain, sprawling outwards to a wide river which quickly opens into an estuary. Predictably, it's a powerful merchant hub and city-state, despite long ago being absorbed into the larger kingdom of Wikel. I have set myself rather well here as I sort of merchant myself, an integral sort I would say.

I am the owner and proprietor of Camellia, home of the most renowned courtesans in all of the kingdom of Wixel, and I would argue in all the known world. I'm proud of my girls and boys, after all. They all work hard for our clients and as a result our reputation is tremendous, me doing my part in various dealings with local nobles and merchants and the like as well. Of course, going into this line of work means my family wants nothing to do with me even more-so than before. But walking down hallways filled with the sounds of sex leaking from within our many private rooms leaves me far too content to care.

The Camellia is a six-story structure in the heart of Ara Tel, narrowing slightly on each subsequent level to offer less space as you go up, just a few blocks of the bustling city streets from the royal palace. The bottom level, the basement, is primarily used for storage and by cooks and maids facilitating the smooth operation of our services. The first floor at ground level contains reception and ample public spaces for more innocent chatter and flirting, getting to know our courtesans and deciding whether you'd like to move up to the upper floors. The second floor contains private, one-on-one rooms for courtesans and their client, each with their own washroom for parties to tidy up as they see fit. The third floor contains larger rooms and suites for higher-end clientele, those interested in hiring multiple courtesans or whom wish to be entertained as a group. The fourth floor contains the living quarters for our courtesans, off-limits to all clients with very few exceptions-- wandering up here is a good way to get barred from the establishment for life. Finally, the fifth floor is my own living quarters, containing a private staircase should I wish to entertain any guests of my own, a living room, sizable bedroom, sunroom and balcony at the rear of the establishment, and an impressive wardrobe. It's important to be able to entertain high profile guests as well, seeing as some would see this business outlawed in its entirety.

Where does story fit into all this?

I’d say I’m most probably looking for 70/30 smut/story given the proximity to sex here, but it depends on the particular scene we discuss. Wanton fucking has its place, as does a slow-burn with sex only sprinkled it. We can address this as we discuss what struck your fancy about this RP and figure out what works best for us. The broader story will likely be heavily informed by your character so it’s hard to describe just what the long-term agenda might look like but at the very least I could see local political dealings being topics we could explore, as well as perhaps external forces coming into the city. Perhaps old flings pop back up, I'm introduced to your day-to-day as you partner, or whatever else we think of. You try to buy me out?
