It was a dream come true to finally be able to afford my own home, far away from my old life. After learning this, I can't help but feel watched and for my heart to skip a beat at every loud noise. I can't let the past dictate my future now that it's finally mine. Besides... I'm sure those eight people just moved away or something. The supernatural isn't real after all.

The Eight: What if their ritual was more successful than we thought? They have transcended this mortal plane to become higher spectral beings, the house now a gateway for them, the only place in this realm they can exist.
