I'm over visiting your family one winter evening where we have a long board game night. However, while the hours burned into the night, outside a snowstorm all but ensured there would be no leaving that night.

No big deal, as I have stayed over plenty in the past for various reasons. Though, tonight was different for some reason.

Was it the glance I so carelessly threw your way? Maybe it was the playful smile in the side eye I gave you? Perhaps it was the accidental brush of my hand on your waist as I passed by.

You know there will be no direct answer for you while everyone was still awake...

Before calling it a night, the power finally fails as anticipated... It always does this in severe weather up here in the mountains. As you watch me and a couple of the other family members load up wood into the stove for heat, you notice the cords on my arms strain with labor. Funny, you never noticed my arms like that before...

I bid everyone goodnight as I make my way into the downstairs area where the guest bedroom is, surely to start the stove down there as well... It's going to be a chilly night, and we need all the warmth we can get.

Everyone else goes to their respective rooms for the long, cold night, thinking no more of the situation. You find yourself still electrified by the evening's course, and a stirring begins within you...

This was my first prompt and I found a lot of interest in a realistic scene. You can chose whatever age you would like to be, a young woman finding an attraction in an older man...an older woman looking for fun with someone familiar, either as a single or married affair? It's up to you!

I'm good with a lot of stuff, however, I'd like to keep it within the context of this particular scene. Feel free to take liberties with my age, just keep us both over 18. Authority figure? Age gap? Whatever you think? In my head I am an older figure that's been around a while.
