This DPP profile post has all my OOC info, likes/dislikes, what I ask from partners and my kink list.

All characters must be written/played as 21 years old (if not already older).

I also like to ret-con the Pokémon setting so characters must be 18 years old before starting their journey or having any position of authority.

The road of becoming a great Pokémon trainer is one that demands a burning spirit and unquenchable drive. Every expert trainer, Gym Leader and Elite—from the swaggering and boisterous Lt. Surge to the quiet and gentle Salon Maiden Anabel, fiery Flint to the ice-cold Prima—share these qualities in their own ways. As in any field, whether it involved Pokémon or was something more conventional, desire was the necessity that separates the lazy dreamer content to be “adequate” from the skilled expert who wants to be “the best (s)he can be”.

Along that road, it would be impossible to come across fellow trainers with their own dreams; in many cases, rivalries would blossom between them. Some were born out of friendship, two kindred spirits dueling out of respect and the desire to test each other’s devotion to their dream. Others blossomed out of bitter shame, the winner’s utter domination of the loser fueling the latter to improve and avenge the brutal loss. Only by returning the favor and tying the score, in the eyes of many young trainers, is honor regained (though whether it was truly lost is up for debate) and one’s reputation restored. Still more proved the old saying of familiarity breeding contempt, or at least annoyance. The trainers share a near identicality of training styles and philosophies on Pokémon save for one major difference; the conflict stems from the desire to prove whose view is right. Moreover, there are many rivalries born not from such high-minded values, but from intense mutual disdain. Using their Pokémon more as tools of war than sentient beings, both trainers hunger to prove their dominance, preferably in a totally decisive manner that leaves no doubt to them—and any witnesses to the battle—who is the butch and who is the bitch.

Whether it is a bond formed of friendship or bitterness, respect or hatred, rivalries can change a trainer’s life in ways never imagined. It can push one trainer to new levels of skill to keep pace with someone who always seems a step ahead, or force one to discard excuses and justifications in defeat. And sometimes, the very thing one despises in a rival can be reflected in the mirror, highlighting character traits for good or ill. Nevertheless, regardless, one thing is undeniably true.

It is in the choice of one’s rivals that a Trainer finds himself.

Greetings! Hope you're all doing well! Given the current state of things--gestures to the world--I'm currently seeking escapism in the form of lighthearted adventure, shameless fun and story-driven smut set in the Pokémon universe. I'm currently seeking some lighthearted escapism. More specifically, I'm looking for some lighthearted adventure, shameless fun and story-driven smut set in the Pokémon universe.

In terms of tone, I'm seeking something whimsical with an unrepentant hardedged "Eff you!" positivity where the characters can genuinely enjoy themselves and the situations they find themselves in. Something with plenty of highspirited campy action and adventure, humor, levity and banter. Something with slice-of-life moments, quiet/subtle character growth and over-the-top Pokemon battles. Lines where sex has a feel of playful warmth at its core even if there's whips and bitemarks, being focused on pleasure and our characters building intimacy (not foregoing the love in lovemaking or friends in friends-with-benefits), with plenty of romance and sexy funtimes. :)

Plot-wise, I'm partial to one of these general ideas:

1. The classic Pokémon journey. If we go this route, I'd prefer an in media res approach where our characters are already fairly experienced, or doing small timeskips when needed. There can be plenty of lewd slice-of-life moments: Our characters making a bet on who wins a given battle, them being in the mood to celebrate after an especially intense/noteworthy victory (or one needing some comfort after a narrow or devastating loss), that kind of thing.
2. A Pokémon capture, tournament or festival battle encounter Meet Cute.
3. Some romantic fluff between a female of high position and authority (Champion/Gym Leader/Elite Four member/Pokemon Prof/whatever) and her husband.
4. Slice-of-life lines among various professions. One--or both--of our characters are Gym Leaders, Frontier Brains, Elite Four members, Top Coordinators, Team Rocket Executives, adventuring treasure hunters or rare Pokémon hunters on a campy adventure seeking a lost legend of antiquity, whatever. The line explores the day-to-day deal behind being one of the greats (training their chosen creatures, dealing with some cocky challengers), or trying to have a romance while being in the spotlight.
5. Two childhood rivals reunite several years later as adults during the annual newly-minted Elite Four/Gym Leader Meet n' Greet.

• Looking to play a male "switch" main (and other background characters as needed)
• 2 paragraphs (3rd-person past-tense) is my typical post length; I ask a certain level of detail and polish from partners

• Two Pokemon-specific Wants: Descriptive over-the-top Pokémon battles (putting creative spins on moves/battles and detailing what's going on in the battle); ignoring the games' "Four Moves of Doom" limit (I want a Pokémon to be able to use—and potentially learn—most of their given moves)​
• Two Pokemon-specific No-Goes: Making the Pokémon setting deadly-serious/heavy/“darker and edgier” (I want to keep the anime's cheerful and lighthearted tone); Pokémon x human sexual encounters (just not my cup of tea)​

I ask that partners...

• Be willing to play a female "switch" or gentle domme main and other background characters as needed (a partner's RL gender is totally irrelevant; if you can play a requested character, hit me up by all means. :))
• Be willing to play over E-mail
• Have solid overall knowledge/understanding of the Pokémon universe (feel free to use Bulbapedia if needed)
• Be comfortable writing 2 solid paragraphs a post
• Be able to post 1-3 times a week

Finally, here's where the "slightly self-indulgent" part in the title comes in: I'm seeking a partner who'll play a fiery, bold, adventurous badass canon female opposite a calmer and more diplomatic/supportive male OC...a loving role-reversal dynamic, or possibly a female-led relationship.

• From the actual Pokémon anime/games, I'd love for a partner to play as Jessie, Delia Ketchum, or Bianca (anime version).
• There are some non-Pokémon female canons I'd love for a partner to transplant/crossover into the setting, as if they were there all along (preferably using their appearance and established personality): Ginny Weasley (Harry Potter); Daenyrys (Game of Thrones); Korra (Legend of Korra); Azula (Avatar the Last Airbender); Female!Ranma Saotome (Ranma 1/2); Videl, Bulma (Dragon Ball Z); Moana (Disney); Kitana (Mortal Kombat 11); Ishizu Ishtar (Yugioh)
