In my kingdom, there are more Gods than one person could count. Our holy ones govern every facet of our lives - the seasons, our trades, the weather, and our emotions. In the west, there are countless shrines to the cruel God of the Desert, hoping for relief from his vengeful sandstorms. In the East, they worship the grain as a symbol of the God of the Harvest. In the Imperial City, where I live in my father's palace, most people follow the teachings of the God of the River, who keeps trade flowing and money changing hands.

Of course, most people have use for multiple Gods. What use is the God of Wine if the God of Rain doesn't water the grapes. There are some universal ones, who matter to every man, woman, and child in our land. The Goddess of the Home is an important one - it is in Her name that every wedding in the realm has been conducted, since time immemorial.

Eventually, the Home finds its way into all of our hearts. Eventually we find someone we wish to wed and to be with forever. But I am not at that point. In my 19th year, my devotion is still to the Goddess of Love.

Some foreigners question how our patrons of love and marriage can be different. I wonder how they cannot see it. Anyone can love more than one person, but a marriage is an act of devotion that is all its own. I can't imagine giving up my rites, dancing and touching a dozen different devotees in our candlelit ceremonies. I have my favorites of course - handsome guards and beautiful maidens come through my chambers, but I always find my way back to a few of them. Eventually father will decide it is time for me to wed, but until then? I'm going to enjoy myself.

Hi! Today I want to write a medieval-themed story about a princess who worships in the rite of her peoples' Goddess of Love. Basically, her religion is to have sex with people and feel connected to her Goddess through them. This is a totally normal religion in her world, just one of thousands in her father's realm.

I want to flesh this out more and talk details with the right person, so tell me where you want to take this idea! I'm looking to have things mostly stay silly and sweet, I don't want people hurting me. If you have a celebrity you want the Princess to look like let me know, it will be a good ice breaker!
