I'm reading about pubic hair removal in men and women.

I have a huge fetish for power exchange, dom/sub arrangements in sex and life, one person controlling the other or one pleasing the other where it is not entirely reciprocated, etc. I'm pretty switchy so honestly this fetish runs both ways, I love to take control of a woman to use for my pleasure but I love to serve a woman and make her happy as well. Somehow it's just more fun when those things don't happen at the same time. Equality is a great ideal for society, but it's not sexy...

And this extends to pubic hair removal, specifically that the more sub partner has to remove theirs and the dom partner doesn't, or at least, does what they please :-)

I'm also a science nerd, actually a researcher with a few published works to my name, but not in this field. This is an actual field though and I can get off just reading the stats on this...

In the US, 84% of women have groomed pubic hair before and 16% have never groomed1. Younger women in the US and Belgium are much more likely to groom than older women 1, 2. 58% of women aged 18-24 removed all their pubic hair at least once over one month surveyed, compared to 45% of women 25-29, 32% of women aged 30-29, 22% of women 40-49 and 11% of women 50  3. A study in Brazil found about 2/3 of both women and men preferred that women remove their public hair, showing there wasn't much difference in preference there.

Men remove pubic hair too, but not as much as women. In one study of mainly US university students, they found 62% of men prefer women to remove all their pubic hair whereas only 24% of women prefer their partner does. About 75% of women prefer men to at least trim their pubic hair. Very few people preferred the natural look, although 10% of men and 20% of women said it didn't matter.4

I'm interested in chatting over anything I've been over above. Do you associate pubic hair removal with D/s power exchange at all? Do you find it hot if men remove their hair? Do you shave or wax to please your partner or because he asked or do you just prefer it?
