The world was cruel. A deadly place where the line between sweet victory, and the cold kiss of the grave was often no more than a heartbeat apart, and inches of cold hard steel. It was a tough, unforgiving place for a veteran, let alone a completely inexperienced new recruit. So, to ease the stress and frustration, the Guild implemented a new system which matched the greenest of the greens, with battle-hardened masters.

Which is why you find yourself now standing before the local tavern, waiting for your new guide. You clutch your holy staff to your chest and try to calm your wild heartbeat. You check the message, and again the name written in gold on the green sign that hangs above the tavern door. You are certain this is the place.

There is a slight shift in the crowd. The usual bustle and noise from the market district quiets as a figure approaches. The merchants and villagers make way without anyone saying a word. They all just stare as the stranger passes.

He's a mountain of a man. Well over six feet, broad shoulders, muscular chest, more mountain than man. Or, at least, you assume. All but his head is covered by thick steel armor as he walks down the cobblestone boulevard like a machine. That's when you realize something that both frightens, and excites you all at the same time. You realize, the tall, handsome knight, is staring directly at you!

A voice that books like thunder cuts through the crowd. "You, healer. To me! I am in need of your service. I'll show you your place." He said with a disarmingly handsome smile.
