I had already told her to stop three times. She knew I had a rough day, but she couldn't go five minutes without teasing or annoying me. Normally it is charming and I like it, but some days you just need a break.Â
She didn't think so. I was standing in the kitchen trying to drink my coffee. After the day I had I needed it. I normally don't drink coffee at night but this was a special blend that finally arrived after being delayed for so long.
"Pay attention to me!" She had been testing her limits since I got home.
"Please, I'm not in the mood. Can we please just chill tonight?" She wasn't having it.
Suddenly she grabs the cup of coffee right out of my hands and holds it over the sink.
"I'm warning you. I've had a really stressful day. If you do that I'll..."
"You'll do what?" She teased.
