Major Leon Fellerer sat down at his desk, on his seventh consecutive hour of reading reports and writing letters. Even though Germany's crippling defeat at Stalingrad was over a month ago, it's still chaos in SS Headquarters as the 25 year old Major Fellerer struggles to reroute supplies, materiel, and vehicles to the remaining SS and Wehrmacht units in the East.

There's a knock on his door. "Go away," he says.

The door opens. Two scientists in lab coats, one male and one female, enter the candlelit office. Behind them, they wheel something in; it's big, but it's covered by a tarp.

"Major, sir!" says the man. "My name is Doctor Otto, and this is my associate Doctor Fischer. We are here to update you on the state of the Hades project."

"I said," the major groans, standing up, "go away!"

"Sir, we were ordered to report to you by the Medical Corps," says Dr. Fischer. "Aren't you aware of the Hades project?"

"Completely aware," says Fellerer, taking the opportunity of the break to light up a cigarette. "That stupid mind control thing they came up with in the thirties. Impossible."

"Impossible without a steady supply of pure oxytocin," says Dr. Otto. "Obviously, even Germany's brightest chemical engineers can't produce oxytocin from scratch in meaningful quantities, but the Medical Corps has come up with a way to harvest it from the human body."

Dr. Fischer pulls of the tarp, and Fellerer is truly shocked at what he sees. It's a huge glass cylinder reinforced with steel. Inside is a woman, floating in some kind of green slime. She's fully nude and seems slightly pregnant. There are all kinds of tubes and wires attached to her, focusing on her vagina and nipples.

"My god," says Fellerer. "What the hell is this?"

"This is, um..." Dr. Otto checks the label of the tank, "Subject #2286A. She's one of the many subjects being harvested for their oxytocin at Aalborg Base in the Netherlands."

Fellerer wipes some sweat off of his brow. "So, you mean to say, you have thousands of these people being harvested? Is it working?"

"Oh you needn't worry about them," says Dr. Fischer, smiling at the girl. "They're mostly undesirables, criminals, and prisoners of war. Most of them are women because of their lower refractory period. The more orgasms we can coax from them, the better."

"So the SS can control minds now?"

"In labs, yes," says Dr. Otto. "But to build the long range mind control device, we need more subjects. The base is currently at fifty percent capacity, once we're at seventy five we will be able to target London and Moscow. At ninety, Washington."

"Tokyo at a hundred," adds Dr. Fischer, putting the tarp back over the tank. "Once the machine has that kind of power, its effects will be more... adverse."

Fellerer is shocked. "Well, w-why didn't I hear about this?" he tries his best to hide his flustery from the others.

"It was top secret before. And now, the big guy wants you in charge of the whole operation," says Dr. Otto.

The major gulped. The big guy- the glorious leader of Germany- knew who he was?

"Right," says Fellerer, putting his cap on. "Collect more people for harvesting, build the mind control gun, and win the war."

"Not to mention the more... personal rewards..." says Dr. Fischer, biting her lip. "It is a mind control ray after all."

Fellerer smiles. For the first time in years, things are looking up for his career.

Yes, yes, I'm playing on nazi themes today. Sorry if that offends you, but it's the best setting I could think of for this kind of prompt.

So, Germany is building a superweapon. They will be able to control minds en masse, which will not only win them the war but also leave Germany with millions of loyal, eager, and submissive subjects to do what they please with.

There are a few angles from which we could play this! You could be...

• A scientist working on the Hades project, processing subjects and getting the mind control working.

• An allied spy, investigating and attempting to take down the Hades project before it even starts (be careful you don't get caught and added to the project yourself!)

• An allied soldier, witnessing the frontline effects of mind control. Is there any way for you to turn it on your enemies?

• A high ranking allied officer or politician. For those who want a grander RP, maybe you'd have to change your entire war strategy to minimize the effects of this weapon?

• Anything else you think of!
