For over a thousand years, the elves had ruled their continent, a wondrous realm of strange magic and stranger creatures. The elves were ruled by a wise matriarchy; the crown passed from mother to daughter. During this thousand-year era of prosperity, the elven queens had fended off invasions from all manner of dark creatures. Neither the orcs nor the goblins nor the minotaurs could defeat them. The elves remained proud, independent, and pure.
And then the humans came.
But they didn't come by land, and they didn't come by sea. They came from the sky, and if rumors were to be believed, the heavens themselves. They soared over their towns in cities in monstrous, impossible, vessels of steel. Queen Valenta's mages had been astounded at the sight, as they considered themselves the preeminent source of all magical knowledge, and they knew of no spell that could make something fly, much less something made entirely of metal!
At first, they didn't attack. Their strange flying machines simply circled overhead, waiting. A few days passed without major incident, other than a few reports of people going missing. And then, finally, one of the smaller ships landed. A delegation appeared at the palace, full of pretty words and an offer to "join" their empire. Queen Valerie was so offended that she sent back the messenger without his head.
In retrospect, that might have been a mistake.
Fire rained from the sky, from those strange ships. And following the fire, the humans landed. For some strange reason, they didn't attack the capital; instead, they raided their border cities and farmland. They wore strange armor and strange bows that didn't fire arrow's but instead seemed to shoot light and fire. The elves tried to fight back, but their magic and arrows were no match for their strange humans.
In an attempt to make one last stand, Queen Valerie summoned all of her remaining troops to a mighty castle near the front. Valerie had worried that the humans would not allow them to assemble a fighting host, but strangely their strange flying machines didn't harass their troops as they assembled. But fortune finally seemed to favor them as their army assembled, thousands of silver banners marking the assembly of hundreds of thousands of elven warriors. There had never been a grander army in elven history. She should have known it was a trap.
Valerie had been approaching the camp herself, intending to take command, when it happened. A column of fire as large as a mountain consumed the camp. And when she arrived, there was nothing left of her army. There was no castle, no camp, not even the bodies of the slain. The smokey, ashen crater was all that remained. At that moment, Valerie knew what a terrible mistake she'd made, provoking the humans.
This left only one thing to do. Valerie sent a desperate message to the humans, begging for a cease-fire so that they could negotiate the elves' surrender. To their credit, the humans seemed to have some honor, because their attacks ceased, and they agreed to meet. And so Valerie, her daughter Evelyn, and the High Priestess Lyari had all traveled to the agreed upon neutral location to meet with the human general for the negotiations. Not that there would be much to negotiate. Valeria knew there was nothing stopping the humans from destroying them all. But she was determined to find a way to prevent that from happening. She had failed her people once, and she would agree to any fate, any indignity, to prevent their destruction.
I wrote this backstory as a fun way to combine some fantasy and Sci-Fi elements. I love the idea of an evil space empire going around conquering planets, and I thought, "Hey, what if one of these planets was a fantasy-style planet filled with elves and magical creatures!" Plus, it's a fun way to combine the aesthetics of both settings.
Obviously, the Queen and her companions will all end up on their knees, both literally and figuratively, during the course of the negotiations. But I see that as the entry point to a larger story surrounding the occupation.
I see this story going one of two ways, depending on how you want to play it. One is more of an enlightened occupation. The general will rule over the planet with the Queen as his slave, but maybe they'll come to understand each other and have some kind of romance, even if in the guise of a master/slave relationship. The other route sees a crueler occupation, with the general using the Queen to help turn all of the elven women into pleasure slaves for the empire. Obviously, that route is a little darker, but we can tailor just how dark things get to fit our mood.
I also thought of another possible arc. Instead of ruling the planet, the General could return to the Imperial Capital with his new slaves at his side, and the story could turn to more of a court intrigue.
If you have your own ideas on where this story could go then please share! I see this prompt as a starting point, and I enjoy the processing of getting creative with my writing partner so I don't make making changes.
Kinks include Master/Slave, all things BDSM, harems, bondage, rough-sex, spanking, slutty outfits, mind control, corruption, blackmail, and lots more on the kinky spectrum.
Also, as the title says I'm mostly looking to roleplay on Discord.
