I saw a post recently regarding a story line that intrigued me, but never got the chance to play it out. Essentially, I would be a man down on his luck, having a hard time making enough money to get through college, etc. That would be until one day on my walk home from work when I find something laying in the bushes near the trail home. I pick it up, appears to be some sort of old antique lamp, kind of rusted and dirty and stick it in my bag. I get home and get to doing chores before sitting down to relax, when I see it almost sparkle, sticking out of my bag. That's when I go over and dig it out, brushing it off to see if there's any inscription, and in doing so release the magic of the lamp. I will of course make a more detailed opening prompt and discuss my character further, and will develop it until the introduction of your character, which we can discuss before beginning.
