Brushing the sleep out of my eyes, I groggily reached over to my nightstand to grab my phone, as anyone does in the morning. I saw a text notification but it wasn't from any of the usual suspects, which was unexpected. It was from you, I hadn't talked to you since high school, right? Had it really been that long? The message read:

I spent the rest of my morning routine wracking my brain for memories of us. We had been friends in high school, but not close friends. Hey all, thanks for reading. Interested in the idea of a reunion there person I'm meeting up with has undergone significant changes.
