My only non-red-limit rule is that we don't do anything in a normal world like a slice of life show or movie or anything like them. It needs some sort of fantastical element. Magic, super technology, super biology, magitechnology, animal people as a normality... There are a few options available.

All characters must be 19 , of course. I prefer PMs as a medium, but I'm open to Discord.

Cosplay

Walking away from the information kiosk, a young man looks over his shoulder. He smiles and waves back to the widely grinning kid reunited with his mom. "And that's my good deed for the day. I wonder if there are any seats for the new Sentai preview still open?" He turns his attention back to the path, moving around people and displays and the occasional photoshoot.

Just as the man arrives in the hallway leading to his destination, he bumps into someone. While he manages to keep his balance, jacket fluttering a bit as he regains his stance, the man looks to the girl with dyed hair currently on the ground. "...Morgan?"

"Huh? Father!" Oh hey, he guessed rigFATHER?!

Kingdom Hearts UX

"Hey, hey. Come on, wake up!" A hand shakes her shoulder. "We need to get going. Those monsters could be back any moment, or even someone from another Union!" The sound of a Keyblade being summoned rings out. "Nature's Gift!" Her body feels much better as light shines through her eyelids for a second.

"Come on, we've gotta move!" A pair of red eyes looks around, the young man adjusting his grip on his purple Keyblade as he looks around. It had been lucky that he'd heard this woman fighting off those tiny monsters. She'd been doing pretty well, but after killing the last one crowding her, she just collapsed. He'd seen her at their Union HQ, so he wouldn't leave her alone.

Hypnotizing

"I'm telling you, I can totally hypnotize you and make you do nearly anything. All you have to do is sit back and watch me swing this thing." He holds up a pendant. He'd gotten it from some random yoga store online, but it really worked for his practice recently. It had worked on family and his one dude friend, so now he wanted to try on a dudette friend.

He hadn't yet realized it was a magically amplified artifact, recently stolen from an actual lab and sold so quickly the police didn't know where it had disappeared to. The young man just thought he was somehow getting the hang of it... which he was. Just, not the way he thought.

Post-Kingdom Hearts III

We'd been kicked out of the Keyblade Academy, as failures. So the pricks decided, we were Keyless. Despite learning the spells, the laws, the tools needed... we just didn't make it. You, me, and a few other people. But unlike them, I don't want to be stuck in my home world. I've already seen so much! There's no reason I can't do something on my own just because Master Ventus said I'm not able to be a Keyblade Wielder.

And I think you're a good choice for partner. Going out on my own, that isn't a good idea. We've all heard the stories. So instead of doing that, I came to you. After all, we weren't the best in class. But I wasn't that bad at controlling elements and you were better when it came to manifesting other bits of power.

Before we left the academy, I found this secret stash of books in the library. One of them said there's a way to forge a weapon from your heart that isn't a Keyblade. A weapon that'll still let us travel worlds and do whatever we want! Well, we definitely made use of the ritual. Now we've got weapons that can kill Heartless and other monsters if need be. Just, one small problem to our continued existence. It isn't supplies or anything...

We're just lost in a forest. It doesn't have anything too distracting in it, but it has been a couple days since we saw anything like a town. Or the signs of one. I'm just gonna relax against this tree. You?

And finally...

Most stories with Demon Lords and Heroes have both around the same age. The Demon Lord is the final obstacle to peace, always. But this story... is different than most.

What if something different happened? What if the Demon Lord took a couple of the prophesied Heroes as wards and raised them him/herself? Most members of a Hero's party are orphans, somehow or other. It is rare for them to have still living families, or parents at least. As such, plucking them from orphanages or the street would be pretty easy.

After that, they'd be raised as members of the Demon Lord's Bodyguard, keeping them safe from harm using the powers that would have been used against them if the Demon Lord hadn't used some of the most potent seers in the world to know where and who their most powerful opponents would be as young ones.

Whether that Demon Lord they're bodyguarding is going to be the one who abducted and then raised them or his successor, that falls on fate to decide. After all, not every Demon Lord has a Hero to come and fell them. Assassins, turncoats, simple armies of the opposing countries... What hardships do these prophesied children face during their growth? When they've grown, what adversities must they face against? On the other hand, how well does life treat these people raised by a Demon Lord? What about their relationships with each other?
