Well dang, pen pals, it’s been a hot minute. I’ve been out of the game for… over a year now, sheesh. Life, as you all know, is a fickle beast and demands more attention than we’d like. Nevertheless, I’m back now and I want to kick things off by finding some new writing partners! `

I am looking for long term partners who are interested in creating exciting fictional worlds with me (and having a little fun along the way). I want to have someone who enjoys creating intriguing characters and interesting scenarios as much as I do.

To kick off as a sampler, I’ve dug up a few old prompts from times past. I have much longer versions of these prompts but I want to give you an array of ideas to get a feel for style. Together, we can forge our own writing style and create some memorable stories.

Android: There are two different prompts for this. The first is the story of an inventor who is an executive at a robotics megacorporation in a dark dystopian future. He is putting the finishing touches on a new model of companion that is more than just a sex doll – she has a mind of her own. The second story is a bit more utopian. A young man saved all his paychecks to buy the latest and greatest sex robot to fulfill all his fantasies. He got it at a steep discount by being an early-adopter beta tester. This came with warnings and tons of paperwork but he is too excited to heed caution that this girl may be dangerous.

Viking Expansion: In the 9th century AD, Norsemen from across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway ravaged their way through Europe with a lust for battle. They expanded for many reasons - the lack of fertile land in their homestead, an expansion of their trade network, mercenary work, or even the raiding and pillaging they're so well known for. It is believed that despite the bloody image painted of the Vikings by their enemies, the Norsemen were at the time some of the most socially and technologically advanced societies. Men and women were treated equally, being judged by their merit not their gender. Women often filled leadership roles and often fought on the field beside men. I would like to explore an RP where you would play one of these northern women. Are you a shield-bearing battle maiden, a leader, or even a sorceress practicing the feminine magics, Seiðr?

The Offering and the Goddess: A gladiator is offered to the gods. He is the pinnacle of shape and body that a man can be. He could dominate anyone in combat or wit. The Goddess, however, is more than mortal. She needs a challenge to enjoy herself. She wants to watch a strong soul break before her will and turn him into her slave. However, he will not so easily bend – even for a goddess.

Fantasy and Sci-Fi Settings: I am well versed in a wide variety of fictional universes, including a few I’ve written if you are into new work. To list a few: Middle Earth, Warcraft, Witcher, Dragon Age, Dungeons and Dragons, etc. As for Sci-Fi: Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, Mass Effect, Star Wars, Star Trek.

Fresh Out of Rehab: This prompt explores one of the kinkier sides of DPP – incest. A former painkiller addict gets out of rehab and decides he has no choice but to go back to the suburbs and live with his family until he can turn his life around. The three women who live there (his mother, sister, and cousin), welcome him with varying levels of acceptance. Everything, however, is not as it seems.
