"Hello!"
I can see the blush spreading across her chocolatey cheeks the moment I slide into the red-leather booth, and I have to grin in reply, the smile coming easily to me as I watch my waitress's sleek, stylized locks marred by her glasses sinking, just for a moment, into them. I've always wondered how anything stayed on them, but, I suppose, they often don't, given the rumors I've heard.
The nametag pinned to her lapel reads Charly, a cartoon goo-drop wearing glasses adorning the edge of the tag and a helpful CHOCOLATE in elegant text nestled below. Not that I'd make any mistakes on her flavor, of course - the smell of warm brownies and succulent fudge is like a perfume, and for a moment, I can't help but close my eyes and breathe in deep, the sight of the diner's lights shining dimly through Charly's shoulders still in my memory.
When the world returns to brightness, a menu's been deposited neatly before me, my hostess's shy glance teasing at the edges of my vision as she shifts nervously. Back and forth, back and forth, she rocks, the lasciviously-tailored tuxedo jacket and skirt barely containing the faint moistness of her gooey skin.
"Is it breakfast?" I ask politely. "Or lunch? Dinner? Is there a separate menu? This one just seems to have desserts - 'Glazed donut special,' 'Extra cream pie delight,' something called a 'slurp and squirt-'"
Ah.
Her blush is positively fluorescent now, a strawberry spread across her cheeks, and I can't help but feel my heart melting just a little as Charly nods primly, a glance at the chrome-framed doors to the back rooms not escaping my eyes. Something sparks within me, and I grin, sliding over in the booth and patting the seat next to me companionably.
"This is that sort of place after all!" I whisper conspiratorially, as something warm and squishy jostles against me for a moment, the scent of chocolate even stronger as Charly sits carefully next to me. "I don't know about you, but I was hoping for some hash browns and pancakes before I got to meet a cute girl."
I wink, a blush of my own joining the smile spreading my cheeks as I meet her eyes, brown on brown, a brown paper package sliding gently out my satchel and settling gently on her lap. A book, of all things, and I press my lips to Charly's cheek as she looks down in wonderment, my tongue sinking just slightly into her as I finish the kiss with a flourish.
A Little History of the World, reads the title, and I can see her blush deepen even further. True, the first time I came to the diner, I'd been nearly as nervous as she was, and the other waitresses had almost caught my eye - Samantha with her lemon locks and bubbly cheer, eager to show just what sort of establishment this really was, Vanessa with the cool mint gaze and her way of wrapping you around her little finger - but, well... I've always been a fan of chocolate, and there was only one waitress that had caught my eye.
"The usual?" I tease, and, for just a moment, I'm as gooey on the inside as she is, when Charly's eyes light up like the Fourth of July.
That old-school diner aesthetic, with jukebox tunes, red leather seats, and chrome aplenty, mixed with a panoply of flavored, fuckable goo-girls, might seem like a strange setting for a prompt... and it is, but what's not to love about a little love in the mix and some back-room shenanigans?
I've not got a concrete plot in mind for this one, honestly - just a milieu, a mood, and a desire to build something together with some charming lass (goo or not)! Please do feel free to drop me a line at any time, and, I promise, I don't ramble on like this all the time.
Just most of it.
Here's hoping to hear from you soon! As usual, if this prompt isn't quite to your taste, there's a long list of more in my post history.
Cheers!
