Straight from the wonderfully inventive mind of /u/AnAmazingFerret and my own slapdash attempt at romance comes this tale of love and loss, heartache and healing. Set amidst the glass spires and neon jungles of a cyberpunk future, two lost souls find their way- an injured veteran adjusting to metal legs and a night watchwoman with a troubled past.
If you like romance between deeply flawed protagonists, this is the read for you. If you're into worldbuilding, and explorations of identity and meaning, or story with your smut, this really is the read for you. And if your sexual tastes skew to romance, gentleness with a hint of the rougher stuff underneath... why are you still reading this and not our story? There's a smattering of dialogue, of long talks and turmoil and gorgeously written handjobs. Romantic, sensuous anal, a few blowjobs for good measure, and the protagonists even- gasp- hold hands!
And if you're just there for the smut, well, we cover just about everything. Anal sex! Oral sex! Good ol'-fashioned PIV! Handjobs, obviously. There's an almost disgustingly happy threesome or two, liberal use of toys, and a sneak peak into the future of hot dogs. And no, that last one isn't even an innuendo.
It's definitely a good, solid story- not a short read, but a brisk one- and one that does stray into some dark places along the way, but I think you'll enjoy reading it just about as much as it's been enjoyable to write. For those who've read the previous installment, new content starts at page 219. Yes, it's that long. But worth it, I promise!
Without further ado, then, here's...
Cutting Edge, Bleeding Heart
As usual, any goodness in the story is /u/AnAmazingFerret's, and any errors are mine alone. Happy reading!
