"COMIC-COOOOOOOON!!!" Wes furiously pumped his fists into the air and screamed with half his torso hanging out the sunroof as the rented SUV barreled down interstate 5.

"Dude, chill!" Zack told him, tugging him back down into the vehicle.

"Sorry, I'm just REALLY excited, you know?"

Mike rolled his eyes. "First timer." A general chuckle rose from the Palo Alto Dungeons & Dragons group. San Diego Comic-Con had become something of a tradition for their merry band of miscreants; a "burning man for geeks" they called it. A place they could relax for a few days, feed off the endless supply of like-minded sub-cultures and let their collective geek flags fly.

A few hours later, the group was setting up home base in their hotel room. Mike sat on the corner of one of the beds idly flicking through his phone.

"C'mon, man. Let's get out there. Mess with your phone later."

"Leave Mike alone.." Zack replied. "He's starting his annual Comic-Con ritual."

Wes glanced at Mikes phone. "Tinder?" Then it clicked. "Ohhhh.."

"Hey, we're in nerd mecca. If I'm gonna find Mrs Right.. or just Mrs Right Now, it's gonna be here."

"Ahh to be young and single at Comic-Con.." Zack prodded. "C'mon, you can get your digital dick wet later, I'm starving."

3 hours later..

"Oooo, he's hot!" Ann said teasingly to Leah. "C'mon girl.. swipe right!"

"Well, maybe.. it says he prefers Picard to Kirk. That chibi Darth Vader tattoo is cute though. But he.. hey!" She protested, as her friend swiped right for her.

"Stop thinking with your nerd. You need a date for the Supervillan party tonight, right? Just go for it!"

"I dunno man, I think you overpaid for that authentic leather Firefly satchel."

"What was that?" Wes asked, as Mike furiously fumbled for his phone, nearly dropping it. A few seconds later he let out an embarrassingly high pitched yelp of excitement.

"Guess who's got a date for the Supervillan party tonight, guys!" Mike triumphantly turned his phone around to reveal a picture of a cute young blonde cosplaying as Cindy Aurum from Final Fantasy XV.

What's up DPP? So if you hung with me this long, you probably have a geek side. This prompt is to explore it. In general strokes, it's boy meets girl at a convention. What happens, where do they go, what do they do? That's all up to us. If you want to continue this prompt, that's fine. Or we can hash out a similar storyline.

Aside from the geeky stuff, and maybe some furry action (I mean.. it's Comic-Con) this is actually a fairly vanilla prompt. It's possible, but doubtful, there's going to be whips, chains, handcuffs, etc involved. So if that's what you're looking for this probably isn't for you. I'm just looking to have some fun and tell a cool story about two free spirited people finding each other in a fun setting.
