In one week, I’m getting married.

My fiancé is everything I’m supposed to want as a gay man in my early thirties; he’s good looking, has a wit like a sitcom character, he’s my age, and he likes bow-ties. He could have stepped off of the cover to any number of men’s lifestyle magazines, and he likes Lady Gaga and beer and going to the gym and Instagram. He trims his stubble and shaves his chest and his penis is pretty great. We’ve been dating for a few years, and he says he loves me. Most of the time, I believe him. He’s my now. In a week, he’ll be my forever, so we've come to our home town for the wedding and the associated pomp.

And then I see you. You’re my then. You’re the one that let me get away, the man I maybe shouldn’t have gotten involved with in the first place. My first love, and my first heartbreak.

You look great, but then again, to me you always have. You're not like my fiancé, in all sorts of ways, and you never have been. When your eyes meet mine, I realize I’ve forgotten what it feels like to actually be seen. I’d forgotten what it’s like to be with someone who’s actually present, someone who makes me feel wanted and not just like a prop.

Gay guy here, looking to explore the above story idea in a long-term, romantic and hot role-play! I'd love to delve into the themes of an age gap and a time gap, an inappropriate romance between exes, and see where this story takes our characters.

I left the characters purposefully vague, so we could work together to make the characters our own. Is your character an old friend, or a friend’s older brother? Perhaps your character is the father or older brother of my character’s fiancé, or my character’s old teacher. Why did they break up? The details above are just a framework, and nothing's set in stone, so let’s have fun with it.
