We are ships passing in the night, seeking harbor in the arms of one another. Lights cast out in beams that momentarily illuminate the passing bodies. My beam is bright as it passes over you. Do I see you? Do you look back? I am but a little sailor in my uniform so white, sailing in an ocean of thoughts.

I cast my anchor at your isle and come to rest upon your shores for awhile. But my sailor’s knot has slipped right through and once again I am adrift and far away from you. Little sailor set out to sea, little sailor that is me.
