"Holy shit guys, I think that was the best crowd we've ever had."
Sweat causes my clothes to cling tightly to my skin as we form our post-show huddle outside the venue. The cold air breathes fresh life to my warmed skin. I look to David, our lead guitarist with a smile.
"No kidding dude, the new material was a hit. People actually moshed during 'Layers'".
I slip my drumsticks to my back pocket and breathe in, letting my heart rate cool down a bit, digging for a cigarette. Then I look to you. My bass player. My rock. I slap a hand on your shoulder in appreciation.
"We killed it. I don't think I've ever been that in sync with a human being in my life."
I fumble in my pockets, coming up short in finding the object I was looking for. I look back to you.
"Got a light?"
I'm a drummer in real life, and thought this would be fun. The combination of post show heart-pumping adrenaline and the deep connection a drummer can form with his bassist is the basis for this scene. Whether that connection is just a bond that just leads to some fun, or something that leads to a more lasting bond is something we can discuss.
Where to from here? Do we pack up the gear and have an impromptu encounter in the gear van? Are we unable to wait, finding a venue bathroom or backstage area for our symphony of sexual energy? Or something completely different?
Shoot me a message with what you have in mind, or just a continuation of the scene to see where it leads.
Limits for this scene: *Violence and scat/watersports. *I'd like to just keep it the two characters, as the connection between them is mainly what I'd like to focus on.
That's it. Let's see what kind of music we can make together.
