Two days ago a man came by your house. He was middle aged and dressed in a grey wool suit with a wide brimmed fedora. At his side was a black leather briefcase. When you opened the door he gave you a white business card with only a six digit number on it number on it, etched in black.

"I have an exciting opportunity for you."

When you sigh and start to shut the door he puts his body into the jamb, holding it open.

"I mean you no harm, and I am not a scam artist. Today I will have 100,000 dollars deposited into your bank account. No one will wonder where it came from, and it is yours to keep, free of charge. If you want more, call that number. The money will be greater, but will come at a cost."

He then backs up and walks away down the block. He doesn't stop at any other houses. You look at the card again, it only reads:

You laugh and toss it. It must be an elaborate prank. The next day you check your finances and with shock see that you are $100,000 richer.

The rest of the day your curiosity about his offer of future gain digs at your brain. You dig the card from the trash and dial it all that you hear is a recorded message.

"I will be back at 6PM tomorrow."

True to his word he arrives today, precisely at 6:00. When you let him in he walks straight to the table and sets down the briefcase. He opens it, and inside sits a red button.

"Each time you press this button, you will make one million dollars. However, it does come with a price. Every time you press it, someone in your life will become mad with lust over you, and they will try to take what they want from you whether you want it or not."

He turns the case around to you and slides it across the table.

"I'll leave the decision to you."

Hello DPP! This scenario is heavily inspired by the movie The Box. I've never seen it because it's apparently awful, but I liked the concept.
