The last couple of days have been bloody and full of madness.Our quiet little town has been beset upon by werewolves, they are walking among us, preying on the innocent. One by one villagers have been disappearing through the night. Today, the village hanged a man thought to be a wolf, and it turned out he was just an ordinary villager, like several others put to the noose. Tonight, they’re going to come again, the wolves. Who will live out the night? Who will die?

I move around my little cottage, lighting the candelabra on the table, and stoking the fireplace. The flames roar and there is a popping sound as the coals sizzle from the stabbing of my fire poker. I am famished, but my appetite has been lost due to recent events. I find myself relying on a pitcher of red wine, sipping at the contents from my pewter goblet as the sun sinks below the horizon plummeting us into shadow.

As the night grows later I smile, donning a simple dress that laces in the front, and a light cloak over the top of it. The night is cool, but I know it will be cosy where you are. At any rate, it’s far better to be out than in with all that’s been happening lately. I will seek comfort in your arms, and enjoy my night, waiting to see what the morning brings. I slip down the back alley and into the night, intent on reaching your cottage unseen.

Taking a breath as I reach the cottage, I raise my hand and knock with three sharp raps on the wooden surface.

Hi! So I was playing waaaaay too much Werewolf today with the DPP IRC and decided a prompt would be fun!

Who Am I? My character’s name is Diana, she’s a villager, or is she? That remains for you to find out :) I could be a harlot just out for some fun tonight and you’ve been on my mind for days; or maybe I’m a seer who is going to be able to see you for who you truly are, or maybe I’m the wolf itself! You’ll find out as the night goes on.

My character has long wavy dark hair, blue eyes, and a typical Irish complexion - white with rosy cheeks. She’s curvy in all the right places, and definitely not a stick-thin barbie.

Who Are You? You’re a villager, or so I think. But maybe you’re not? I’ll let you decide. Perhaps you’re a wolf, and just as surprised to see me on your doorstep as I am going to be when I figure out who you are. Or maybe you’re a detective, and are going to figure out what my game is exactly. Or maybe you’re the Guardian Angel and going to protect me from danger.

How Does It Work? / How Do You Reply

1. Pick a door, any door - 1, 2 or 3. This will determine the role I play. It's going to be Harlot, Wolf or Seer for me (not in any particular order).
2. Decide your own role - Choose - villager, guardian angel, wolf or detective.

3. Write a response to my initial prompt starting from the point where I knock on your door. Jump straight into your character, remembering that you don't know who I am just yet, or why I'm there. But you've wanted me for some time now, and you're not about to turn me away.

4. Wrap it all in a lovely PM to me and hit send. Include in the start your character's name, a bit about them, and their role from point #2. Obviously, I need to know your role in order to drop the right clues for you to figure out who I am. You can also choose to know the role I’m playing, or be surprised.

I’ll drop little hints here and there as the night progresses as to what I really am, but mostly, we’re going to have a very, very fun night enjoying each other’s bodies - we can figure out if we should be eating each other or hanging them at the end ;) This is based on the game Werewolf (similar to Mafia) so you'll probably want to be familiar with those roles just a little and how the game works.

What Am I Looking For? Someone not afraid to have a little fun. Punctuation, grammar and spelling are major turn-ons, (don’t freak out, I’m not a grammar Nazi, just do your best). Character control is a big no-no, please don’t do that. You don’t need to write super long replies to impress me, as soon as you can’t go further in the scene without my character’s input, hand it over please.

I’m fairly vanilla, but I like to have fun inside of that. You can read my DPP profile here for more about my likes and dislikes. This is a werewolf roleplay, so a bit of biting (even if it’s just for fun and nothing to do with being the wolf) will be welcomed from you and/or given from me.

Disclaimer: If you do end up being the wolf, or I do. I’m not looking to play out the part where someone gets killed and eaten. Definitely not into that, so the scene will end before that happens with a little summary of the next morning, whatever ends up happening.

I hope this isn’t too convoluted and confusing. Really it’s just a bit of fun, a good night of sex, and maybe you’ll be alive when the sun comes up… maybe you won’t, but at least you went out with a smile on your face (or I did… if you kill me!)

I’m on Australian Eastern Time, so it’s pretty much bed time for me here, so don’t expect a reply straight away.

I also apologise in advance if I don’t get a chance to reply to you due to time constraints and/or other real life commitments. I will do my best to reply to everyone one way or another, but if I am unable to, please know that I appreciate everyone who puts in the effort to make a good response, even if it’s not the right one for me. I know it’s hard to put yourself out there, and thank you so much for doing that, regardless of the outcome. If I get too many of the same combinations I will go with the response that feels like it's going to click with my writing best.

P.S. This will be played out over Reddit PM, this isn't a live-time role play, I have commitments in real life that mean I can't always reply immediately, though I've been in a writing mood lately and so I don't anticipate this being a long-term RP.
