Stealing an airship was easy. Finding a crew is proving to be less so. I've managed to not crash-land the Gullwind into Willow Bottom easily enough but she'll need a full crew before I can take her out again. Luckily for me this backwater trading town is full of ready and able bodies. If I spread the rumor around town that I've got a big score, maybe I can hook a few compitent airmen.
The ship's got a captain and enough crew to sail but I'll need a good navigator if I'm to brave the rough high winds off the Stormed Coast. A mechanic would probably be a safe bet too, where we're headed spare parts aren't so easy to come by. Then there's always the occasional merchant or tinkerer looking for cheap fair, maybe a cook. So many vacancies and so little time.
Wandering down the main thorough fair of Willows Bottom, I spy through the hazy gas lamp fog an Inn. This look's like the place the fishmonger's wife told me about. Good thing she's better at giving directions than she is at giving head. I think. I wander on inside to see if I can find a new crew mate or two.
Inside the inn is dusty with pipe smoke and a roaring blaze coming from the hearth. A lutist goes about singing and playing some sea shanty or another, nearly droned out by the shouts and laughs of the bar's patrons. It's certainly a seedier crowd than the more popular inns off the main city square. I check that my saber and throwing daggers are loose and at the ready before finding a seat in the corner where I have a good view of the common room but they can't easily spy me. A barmaid comes over and takes my order. "Whiskey please if you have it, two beers if you don't." I say cheerfully with a pearly white smile. When she leaves, I take stock of the men (and especially the woman) in the common area.

So if you couldn't tell, this is a steampunk tinged swashbuckling adventure rp. I'd prefer for this to be more longterm and would appreciate it if you responded with a bit about the character/characters you wish to play. Other than that, I look forward to a fun roleplay!
