The music in the club was deafining. Bodies pulsating and grinding against each other in the heat of the dance floor. The android dj spins the turnstyles in perfect harmony to the swarm of hot modified bodies as they gyrate against each other.

Normally I wouldn't be caught dead in a sleazy place like this but my client said to meet her here at midnight. That was an hour ago. Now I'm too drunk to think straight and the bass from the two story tall speakers is doing a number on my head. I start to light up a cigarette but the mechanical bartender stops me. "No smoking." It says in a monotone voice.

"Fine." I growl between gritted teeth. I run a strong leathered hand through my dark brown hair and make my way towards the stairs that lead to the street. I may be too pissed to head home but I can at least stumble to the street for a smoke.

As I make my way out of the noisy club I pull up the collar of my trench coat and search around inside the well worn blue suit vest underneath for a smoke. It's been raining again and I try to avoid stepping in puddles as I take a few steps away from the door. Finding a bent up cigarette in some pocket, I straiten it as best I can and flick open my silvery zippo to light it. That is the exact moment I see the most beautiful creature I had ever seen walking straight towards me. "She must be my new client." I thought. "I might enjoy this one..."

This is a cyber punk/neo-noir rp in the vein of Nueromancer or Blade Runner. In the distant future, AIs and genetic modification is everywhere. Sometimes, it's impossible to tell where the line between human and, something else, begins and ends. Brooks is a private investigator hired to find people, or what's left of them. This case smelled funny from the get-go but once Brooks is on a case, he never let's go.
