I can’t help but smile as I walk down the street, a picnic basket in one hand, your hand in the other. Our intertwined fingers make it crystal clear to me that our first date was a total success. I was incredibly nervous when I asked you, pulling you aside and making everyone stare at us. And when you said yes, the happiness I felt was immediately replaced with a bit of panic as I scrambled to figure out what to do for this date that was just a few short days away. I don't even know how to date! Looking for answers, I turned to the masters of romance, reddit.

Hah, just kidding, I turned to the French. I planned a classic French lunch for us, with some cheese, some meat, a loaf of crusty bread, some fruit, and a nice bottle of red. I packed it all in a picnic basket and took you out to the local park, where we found a nice spot away from the people playing Frisbee. There was an instant connection as we sat there under the shade of a big oak tree and sipped at our wine. We talked for hours about everything imaginable, from food to our favorite movies to which Star Wars character is best (it’s totally Obi-Wan, but Han is an acceptable answer as well).

After a few hours flew by, we packed up the remains of our lunch, and I got ready to walk you home. It was a bit of a walk, but neither of us seemed to care, as it meant we could make this date last just a little bit longer. It didn’t take long for your hand to find mine as we walked down the sidewalk, heading to your place.

Suddenly, I feel a little prick on my hand. No, not now! I glance at you as you look at me, clearly thinking the same thing. It's rain, and before either of us can say anything, the skies open up, the rain is accompanied by a crash of thunder. I try to suppress that growing sense of dread as I realize that our perfect date is now ruined. But I realize we need to get out of this rain, and I know just where to go.

I pull you with me as we both break into a sprint, dashing down the sidewalk. Your apartment is still several blocks away, but mine is close, and after a few minutes of running, we arrive at my place out of breath and totally soaked. I fumble with my keys before unlocking the door, and we shamble inside, our clothes dripping water onto the tile floor. I look at you, grinning sheepishly as I set down the picnic basket, letting you know where the bathroom is. As you walk away from me, shivering slightly, I think about if there’s anything I can do to salvage what started out as a fantastic date.

Hello DPP! This prompt might seem a bit familiar to some of you, as it is a reworking of one of my favorite prompts of all time, one that I came up with for the original vanilla Sunday. I've written many things since then, but this is still one of my favorite scenes. There's just something about getting caught in the rain that is so sexy and so fun.

As you probably figured out, I am looking for a lovely lady to play my date. Ideally you will play yourself, and your actions here would reflect what you would do if you found yourself in this situation out in the real world. How you handle it is up to you, whether you're bummed out that your clothes are all wet, or happy that you get to spend more time with me.

As this is a first date scenario, I don't think we will get too kinky here, but who knows what could happen. I do anticipate there will be much cuddling, which hopefully leads into something a bit more exciting.
