Hello this fine Vanilla Sunday. I would like to open a discussion to the fine folks of DPP, some like me may not be looking for new long term DPP but still want to wave the team Vanilla banner. So put on your cardigan and sperry top siders and join in.
The discussion point of this post is: Pet Names and Nick Names.
Do you lean toward the cuddly and cute:
Boo Boo Bear
SnugglePuss
Marshmallow Man.
Or lean toward the descriptive:
Blue Eyes
Smiley
Big Guy
For me I will say (no not Mouse, I’ll stow the obvious) and go with Good Girl
It isn't original, it isn't even unique to me, but there is something about “Good Girl” that settles over me like a warm caress. I mean, I am in my heart a good girl. I follow laws, most of them...ok so I jaywalk. Can I still be a good girl, can I still be vanilla if I am a little bad? I try to be so good to you my DPP; I check my spelling, I reply promptly, I try to be sweet and funny and kind. So call me a good girl and let me feel the beat of a thousand butterflies in my tummy as that immediate gut dropping tingling sensation spreads over me. Or better yet tell me here...what is your pet/nick name, how does it make you feel, how did you get it, or what do you like to bestow on others? I'm trying after all to be a good girl here, trying to participate in Vanilla Sunday, please help me.....help me to be a good girl. Even if today and every other day you are unable to call me My Girl. For in the end there is only one man who can call me my good little mouse.
Also.... so I realize that pet name and nick names do not wholly belong in the vanilla realm. I really am just trying to open up discussion to all on this fine Vanilla Sunday, so while you wait for your very own orangered join in and discuss.
