I have a number of kinks and turn-ons, but I would say that a common thread that runs through many of them is contrasts. Contrasts between partners that emphasise norms. Or contrasts that emphasise the subversion of norms.

Despite all of the 'progress' that has brought us eg. society's nomalisation of female sexual liberation, same-sex relationships, and even polyamory, there is one type of relationship that is just as taboo (if not more so) as ever before: age gap relationships.

A lot of posts on the NSFW subreddits reference inappropriately large age gaps, and I can't help but think that it is partly because of the societal taboo. I find it very hot to think about the 'unfairness' of one man (I usually imagine it is me) out of a group of long-time friends having a girlfriend or wife 15-20 years younger than him. While his friends are dealing with school runs, dead bedrooms, sagging tits and menopause, this man is enjoying variety, discovery, and no baggage with a lover that is firm, tight with everything in the right place. It is clear to me age gap taboos and scorn originate from a place of jealousy.

And I am therefore looking to chat with anyone who has experienced - or is currently in - an age gap relationship. I want to hear about the comments, glances, and snide remarks you have received. I want to discuss the good, the bad, the cliches. I have a few large age gaps in my family, which I'd be happy to share. I'm particularly interested in hearing other women's reactions to your relationship, as I suspect this is the source of most judgement.
