This scene is an example of one that I would like to play out within this RP prompt. I am not beholden to much of anything within. What I would really like to do within this roleplay is build out the world in which this takes place, perhaps playing short scenes along the way when it strikes our fancy.

Kara plopped down on the bed next to her sister Danielle. They had just doing the dishes while their mother tidied up the dining room. If they were being honest they had rushed through it. Hopefully it wouldn’t get them in trouble. Kara didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her sister, two years older since she got married off. Danielle had a lot to do maintaining her husbands home, and he kept her on a pretty tight leash.

Downstairs, Kara’s father was talking with her potential new husband and father in law. She had always known this day would come, it’s how things were done in their world. She had recently turned 18 and she knew her father had received a few offers, but this one was serious if they came over for dinner. Kara’s father had asked Danielle’s husband to let her come over and assist her mother and Kara with preparing and serving the meal, the men talked while the women ate quietly. Kara trying to get a sense of the kind of man her future husband might be, since she had no choice.

“You better get those clothes off and hang them up before you get too comfortable.” Danielle said “Dad will whoop you good if you come back down in wrinkled clothes.”

Kara sighs before getting up stripping down to her bra and panties, hanging up her dress.

“So tell me, what’s marriage really like?” Kara asks before flopping back down on the bed.

“It all depends on the type of man you marry…”

Hopefully this scene captures what I’m imagining, a misogynistic world where your character is potentially going to be married off. We can continue this scene where you are talking to your sister or start at some other point but I’d really like to make sure whatever we do builds out this world.
