"Let me lift his tail for you."
I was dumbfounded at that line. Sure, Buster was pant-up and in his playful mood, but what do you even mean by, "let lift his tail for you?" - Lift his tail for what!? Looking into my partner's eyes however made it so crystal clear. It was the same kind of look I found myself faced with whenever we struggled to overcome our cultural differences, prejudice and of course, the uncertainty of our relationship.
And so, I didn't object. Moments later, I found myself staring at Buster's rear end. Not that it helped make anything make any more sense, but it at least put the heavy panting into perspective. It was supposed to be a playful date in my crammed apartment after an exhausting week.
We ordered delivery food, watched a movie I zoned out of 30 minutes in as the movie didn't have Korean subtitles, and the next thing I remember was Buster being overly excited and worked up. That heavy, excited panting echoing off the walls as I was forced to watch his puckered hole throb.
Why were you doing this? I know the movie was bad. I know you love your dog but .. that sinister grin in your face scares me. Is this really the man I fell in love with?
