The town of Westview is barely noticeable on any map. The people there tend to keep to themselves and unfortunately for some... nothing much happens.

Aaron Clark, a 34 year old veterinarian, lives alone at the corner of Pine and Spruce. Recently, a new family moved in next door and he couldn't help but take notice of a particular member. She must have been 19 or 20, 23 at the oldest and the daughter of the older looking members of the family. Wearing black on black with lips black and eye shadow thick, Aaron felt his brain spark. Aaron watched from his kitchen as the family started moving in. The mother and father carrying box after box while their daughter pouted before retreating into the dark of the house. A dark desire quickly invaded Aaron's mind as he rushed out to offer help to the family.

The new neighbors introduced themselves as the Kim family. They initially refused the help, but with a little coaxing, Aaron found himself with a box in his strong arms. The work went by quickly and once mostly done, Mrs. Kim offered Aaron water. As they stood and chatted in the kitchen, the Kims explained they had moved for their daughters education as she had recently been removed from her previous university for vandalism. They worried she might never finish her studies, but found a school to take her for her final years. They further explained how she was a troubled child, but loved animals and wanted to work in an animal related field. This peaked Aaron's curiosity and even worse, his slowly darkening thoughts.

With a smile, Aaron informed the family of his job and that he would be more than happy to help their daughter with her education. Unfortunately, she had been out of sight for the afternoon and so the Kims offered to bring it up to her.

As the days went on, Aaron heard nothing from the girl next door. He had, though, seen her occasionally returning home late at night and finding the doors to her home locked. She would then curl up into a tight ball and sleep on the ground until morning when shouting would be her welcome home.

It was just one of these night when Aaron spied her coming home. As she tried the door, he stepped outside and called out in a soft voice, "Hey there neighbor. I thought I saw someone walk past and came to check. Are you able to get in?"
