I lamented on the couch, frustration and near tears building in my eyes. My hands squeezing until pure white out of frustration. Another date cancelling at the last minute. A date I had been talking about all week, looking forward to Friday night and a night out of the house. A potential chance to get lucky, only to have my dreams squashed just hours before the reservation. The truth is, I knew why this happened and I think you did to. It was all because of your career choice.

In your early 20s, you had begun making a name for myself in the porn industry. Starting with a small production company of only 20 people, but something about them was different. You knew that it would take time but they would grow into a massive industry leading production company. And staring in their content so early meant you were one of their main talent. Your name quickly grew and is now know across the industry. Their name, was Brazzers.

Over the past 20 years, You had helped that company grow into what it is today. You eventually worked your way from in front of the camera, to behind (though you still enjoyed plenty of time recording as well). You were now part of their lead production team, helping girls get into the industry safely and smart. Men turning up all over to have their shot with the legendary producer and talent.

But that is where this becomes an issue. As soon as any potential date puts two and two together, that you were my mom, its almost like they disappear. Scared of the legend that is or grossed out at the things you had done. Who could really tell the exact reason, but it all came from the same line of logic. I was a pornstar's son and that stigma was a shell I just couldn't break even though I had come to terms with it years ago.

"I just want a normal date, a drink, and some company. Oh well, I guess I will call them and cancel. Wish I could get my deposit back." I slumped, reaching for my phone.

Your heart breaks, seeing your son so low, but you have an idea on how to help. Figuring those reservations shouldn't go to waste, you offer a solution. A way he can still have a date and a night he wont forget. What you didn't expect was how charming and physically attractive your son is after a glass of wine in the candle light. Or how gifted he is when the lights turn off. But I suppose it only makes sense, it runs in the family after all.
