The ground crunched beneath his feet with every step, the smell of morning dew and nearby factories creating a pungent aroma that he had become accustomed to over the years of working in the industrial district of the city. The sun had not yet risen over the horizon, leaving the city dark and only some of the real early risers were out and about at the moment. It was still fall season but the temperatures would eventually be dropping even more as the snow began to fall marking the beginning of winter. Wearing his newsboy hat, the salt and pepper haired man was well acquainted with New York’s changing of the seasons, having grown up here all his life. As he reached the end of the chain link fence, he took a turn into the courtyard and went straight towards the door to a large warehouse. Once inside, a security guard sat reading a newspaper and looked up, smiled, and waved.

Jack smiled in return and nodded his greeting before walking past the man and up a flight of metal stairs that took him to the second floor. This part of the warehouse was the only portion of the building that had a second floor, which housed his office and a few other small rooms such as file storage and his secretaries office, plus a balcony in which he could stand out on that oversaw the entire warehouse. Once inside, the soft melody coming from the phonograph created a relaxed atmosphere of the year's popular tunes off the record disc. An overheard fan was slowly rotating with a light squeak and the lights were on. Jack began removing his trench coat, overcoat, and his hat and placing them on the coat hanger near the door.

His new secretary was already showing she was worth the wages, cocking an eyebrow upon seeing his desk so… well organized. All his paperwork was nearly ordered and stacked, the geography of his desk such as his small desk lamp and pen and pencil holders aligned at the corners. Elize, the new girl who he’d hired, was already beginning to impress him. A smirk overcame him when he also noticed that she’d dusted down the entire office, removing cob webs from harder to reach places and wiping down certain surfaces to look as if everything was brand new. “Very impressive.” He’d whisper to himself.

Carefully, so as not to make too much noise, he’d walk towards the door to her office and lean against the door frame gently, crossing his arms as he did so. Inside was Elize, a petite build black woman of dark brown complexion and simple straight down hair pulled into a ponytail. Her outfit was a slim fitting short dress and loose blouse. The outfit really accentuated her curves. Currently, she was bent over in a filing cabinet and her short skirt was really stretching to fit the perfect shape of her ass while she rustled through the papers and folders.
