It's been a little while since I've posted a prompt but there's one idea that I've always liked but never really managed to get a good story going with. I'd love to play out a plot focused and light on smut RP where one of our characters has magical abilities and the other does not. For me most of the fun of this would come from the magical half of the partnership not yet revealing that they have these powers, keeping everything secret for various reasons that we can work out later, but I'm assuming it's because the larger world is unaware of people with powers. They could be a witch or warlock or maybe even a different species altogether. We could go a slightly darker route where people who can do magic are ostracised, which could be a different kind of interesting.

In either case I think playing out them both meeting, the early days of dating, and then the big reveal would make for an entertaining and juicy story in my mind. Having to go through a lot of the usual trial of getting to know someone with a few interesting wrinkles thrown in. Then we get to have the bonus level of our mundane other half discovering a whole new world that's been hidden right under their nose.

I'm open to drawing on various fandoms to make this work or we can come up with entirely unique rules, I'm not much an in depth world builder so if that's what you're more interested in I'm likely not the partner for you. I honestly wouldn't mind some of this plane being built as it goes down the runway as long we have some basics put in place from the off and I know that would drive a few roleplay types insane.

I'm happy to go with either first or third person. I usually write in the 3ish paragraph range but I'm very flexible and happy to go longer or shorter depending on what suits the scene. Just in general I'm a very laid back partner and will go with the flow as long as effort is on the same level. There might be a few days where I can't respond, sometimes life gets in the way or the creative juices need a couple of days to recuperate.
