The title of the official companion to the Princess and Heiress to the throne probably would have sounded a lot more impressive a couple of centuries ago (although we already were a constitutional monarchy back then). In the 21st century, however, there were no privileges to it, and even any informal favours one could have expected were massively outweighed by the public scrutiny of anyone associated with the family.
Still, there was magic in it. Magic of tradition⌠And magic of friendship, as I could tell how few real friends the girl I was stuck with/that was stuck with me had, and I liked her. There were some quirks to her character, sure, but nothing too bad, especially given the upbringing for someone in her position.
It was our first break back from university (of course we went together, but we both did get on our merit in case anyone gets any thoughts to the contrary) that things got⌠Interesting. At almost 19 I was only a couple of months older than her, but our actions spoke of vastly different maturity levels. I took some time to enjoy myself, granted, but I did focus on my studies first and foremost. The Princess, on the other hand⌠enjoyed having relative anonymity for the first time in her life to the fullest. No, she did not descend into a life of drugs and debauchery, but the academic component of her university experience was dead and buried, despite my best efforts to nudge her. Turns out, nudge her I still will⌠Just in another way.
âThe what law says w-what?!â, I exclaim. Although I managed not to insert a well-deserved expletive (if only just), the palace major-domo looked scandalised. Nobody is supposed to raise their voice here, least of all a âlowlyâ companion. âYes, young lady, the law is quite specific in that when the Heir or Heiress to the throne begins to fall behind in their University studies, they are to get private tutelage⌠And their companion is to become their whipping⌠girl, in your case. Of course, under the present day circumstances the Crown will likely not prosecute you should you refuse, but neither would your place in the palace be retained. Or by the Princessâs side in any other capacityâ. He pauses, probably to see if Iâm storming out yet⌠Which I know I should be doing, but I remain listening instead.
He continues. âI wonât say the experience will be anything but very unpleasant should you accept, it has to be painful and undignified for the Princess to truly regret her actionsâ impact on you and thus start applying herself, but it will be safe and start relatively mildly, with the hope harsher measures will not be needed. A wider audience may be present at a later point, but most punishments will only have the Princess and her tutours, unless one of their Majesties decides to observe as well. Iâd suggest you consider it before refusingâ.

Hello all,
Not a standard prompt exactly, but hope you enjoyed it! The setting is a modern-day fictional European constitutional monarchy, a very liberal and free place in general⌠But with some interesting traditions still going strong, however. With regard to the specific âactionâ, my character will experience whipping/spanking (obviously) with a range of additional punishments also on the table, such as corner time, stress positions and physical exercises, longer-term loss of clothing, figging, enemas, mouth soaping, spanking on other body parts - and feel free to suggest more!
Apart from the punishments, however, there is a major factor to the scenario in the subsequent interaction between my character and the princess. We are friends, of course, but letâs discuss what her reaction would be. Does she start to try harder? Actually enjoy my misfortune and try to get me into more trouble? Fail to improve but feel bad about it and try to make it up to me? Simply distances herself and stops caring? Some combination of the above?
Please message (rather than send a chat request) out of character with your ideas of where to take this. Thanks for reading!
