The first warm rays of sunshine rouse me from my sleep. How did I end up here?

You could call it a very last-minute decision. The bad weather forecast - rain, rain and more rain, the desire for vacation and sun. The overwork and the countless overtime hours that have to go somewhere anyway. The decision was made quickly. A few days on the Canary Islands. 28° sun and beach. The conscious decision not to go to one of overcrowded hotel bunkers, but to take a rental car and a small house a bit off the beaten track.

A look at my cell phone shows me that it is already 10:30, I haven't slept so long in weeks. With a grin on my face, I peel myself out from under the light blanket. Naked, I step onto the small terrace in front of the cottage. There are a few neighboring houses, but I couldn't care less if anyone spots me like this.A coffee and a small breakfast later, my bag over my shoulders, I make my way to the small bay within walking distance.

A few minutes later I realize to my delight that I am the only person on the beach. I spread my beach towel in the warm sand and immediately lose my clothes. As long as no one is here to complain, why should I wear my shorts?

A slight noise disturbs the silence a little later. I glance to the side and see a woman slowly walking down towards the beach. I couldn't tell much from afar, being blinded by the sun a little, but I could definitely spot a pair of wide hips already.
