The first thing Alice noticed was the blood.

She smelled it before she saw it.

It wafted through the air, as if surrounding her, as if it was layered onto every surface.

The smell was so intense she sat up, retching into the dirt, her eyes finally taking in her surroundings. A cornfield.

A soft gasp escaped her mouth as she took in her hands, caked in blood.

Her clothes were torn to shreds, equally soaked.

She couldn’t tell just from looking at the dirt but she could smell that it was embedded into the earth too.

Her breaths quickened as she stood up, the smell overwhelming.

She glanced around, taking notice of a spot in the corn where the stalks had been trampled and flattened, as if something very large had crashed through them.

She sensed another smell, off through the corn. Death.

She felt drawn to it, walking forward through the flattened stalks, against her better judgment.

Her eyes widened and her mouth fell in horror as she came upon the scene in front of her.

A cow, or what was left of one. She could only tell it was a cow because its head was still intact.

The rest of it had been mangled and torn, the poor animals entrails splayed out all over the soil.

Alice felt herself vomiting again, turning away from the horrible sight as all the sensations and senses at once began to overwhelm her again.

Through the fog one thought penetrated her mind, refusing to leave.

Did she do this?

Hey! I hope you enjoyed this grisly set up, I quite enjoyed writing it!

It’s pretty open ended as to where it can go & that’s the intention.

I prefer leaving many things up for interpretation as it means I can never have the same roleplay twice even with the same premise!!

Maybe you’re a townsperson who joins a witch hunt against me, another werewolf who seeks asylum with me? (Am I even a werewolf or am I something else? Who knows? :p)

The name of the game here is bringing me something unique that I can work on with you to fit our needs specifically.

It can be a romance, it can be a mystery, it can be horror, it can be all of those things at once!

Really I cannot emphasize enough how I want this to be different with every person I play with.
