I'd walk the war-torn south-road while listening to idle conversations that flowed as easily as the second-hand smoke through the creaking carriages of the baggage train; my nose filled by the thick musk of sweat-slicked horses and oxen.

Sunlight shone soft and warm through the canopy above—illuminating the vibrant greens and browns of the forest and turning each axe and sword carried lazily across the shoulders of the walking-men to twinkling stars.

I avoided that early-morning eyesore to focus instead on you.

Hi! I would like to chart the lives of two people growing up in the ranks of a Landsknecht mercenary baggage train. Might be you're a wayward Princess, a war-orphan, the child of an established member and a camp-wife. Either way, we've grown up in this Company. I think historical expectations of gender could also be fun to play with. There weren't really any female landsknecht. And maybe you'd like to keep it that way? Might be you'd rather cook and clean? Maybe you'd like the leader of this band to think fighting beneath women, and so I instead teach you late at night? Could be you impressed the leader at an early age and you're being taught alongside me; both of us sweat-slicked beneath the sunlight.

I'd imagine this as more slice-of-life. And so I'd really like to hear any potential ideas you have for a character.
