Last quarter our company saw the highest margins we had ever recorded. A lot of it was due to the countless nights I’d sacrificed to make sure we’d stay on track to meet investor’s expectations, but the real reason has been a bit more grey. We had come into habit of some under-the-table dealings, of which we saw a huge boost in income, but not without a price to pay.

“Dexicorp is under investigation for embezzlement and fraud, and all employees assigned to the northwestern branch are required to cooperate with our team of financial investigators” The bolded document started back at me as I scrambled for any sense of composure, I didn’t know how I was going to make it out of this one.

And that’s how I found myself in your high-rise office, walls lined with windows from floor to ceiling, revealing one of the most jaw-dropping views of the city I had ever seen. Your office told me all I needed to know, you were definitely the right lawyer to save my ass. I heard there wasn’t a case you couldn’t win, and judging by the lavish interior of your firm, I could see that wasn’t a lie.

I didn’t care how expensive your rates were, I was too eager to get you onto my case as soon as possible. I signed every document you provided me in order to begin our consultation, however once I handed the stack of legal papers back to you, you simply let off a light sigh and revealed a devilish grin.

“Congratulations darling, you’ve officially become my newest pet” Your voice was like velvet brushing across my skin, so gentle and calming that I almost didn’t register the words you spoke.

“Pet? what kind of joke is that? I don’t have time for games I need to get this case started” I felt bad snapping at the beautiful lawyer, but she didn’t even budge as she slowly uncrossed her legs and leaned back in her leather chair.

“You don’t understand darling, what you signed wasn’t a consultation form. Tsk tsk, you were in such a hurry that you didn’t even read the fine print did you?” She threw the stack of papers back across the desk, and the room began to spin as I read the truth of what I had signed.

“I hereby relinquish all individual rights and self-governance to my new mistress. My body, mind, and free-will shall in totality be her legal property in any capacity she deems fit. Upon signing, I shall only refer to her as “Madam, Mistress, Mommy” or any other name she desires. Refusal to follow any of her commands shall be met with any punishment my new mistress deems fit, and I waive all my rights to refute any punishment bestowed upon me.”

Her new pet? I was nobody’s property. Hell, if anything, I was the one used to taking control as a single bachelor who never had to want for anything. What kind of sick joke is this. But as I looked back up at you, and saw you casually biting the tip of your pen, eyes hungry and piercing into my soul, something told me this was no joke.

“Now, be a good boy, and sit.”

In this scenario, the lawyer uses her intelligence and position to create a cage of paperwork and bureaucracy, keeping her “pet” bound not by chains, but by legal constraint. This could add a psychological twist, as he wrestles with his new reality and the moral complexities of her hold over him. I can see this going a lot of different directions, but mainly with the lawyer revealing her true dominatrix nature, and taking full advantage of her new toy.
