This is a rather random and unique thought I had and I'm hoping some of it will make sense.

Scrolling through social media I've seen plenty of power couple aesthetics and coupling this with the gangster shows (and even something like GoT or House of Dragons) left me with more questions than answers. A part of this post is me fawning over their maternal, madonna-esque qualities and the other half is me questioning the psychological make-up of someone willing to step into a world of crime, danger, power, and downright depravity in some cases.

On the one hand you have a feminine figure, adorned with gold, fine silks, and couture that is intended to signal her status and economic power. Long, luscious locks, whether they be blonde or brunette, and curves that signal fertility and maternal prowess. Yet, this is all to draw you in; to seduce and intoxicate so that her will may be enacted. The stereotypical large breasted alpha woman is adept at using her assets to exert influence in a manner that is almost devious; feigning a romanticized maternal instinct for whatever purpose.

Of course then the motivation for all this behavior must originate from somewhere. It might be an upbringing dominated by a doctrine of survival of the fittest. Or it could be something more sinister. What this could be is what I am trying to find out. Some may be more perverted than others? A few feel trapped and this is the only avenue forward? Perhaps some believe that the end justifies the means and are just purely psychopathic like their criminal spouses? I'd love to hear what your thoughts are!
