A female simp is likely in love with an emotionally unavailable man. She may even be in some sort of relationship with him. Unlike male simps, I think it is possible (and even likely) for a female simp to be in some kind of sexual relationship with the object of her obsession.

Furthermore, she'll probably convince herself that the relationship is something more than he understands it to be. He sees her as a booty call; she believes they're FWBs. She's a reliable fuckbuddy to him; she thinks she's in a committed relationship with him. Then again, she might be completely aware of their disparity of feelings. She might be a willing simp.

Like the male simp, I imagine she will excuse his bad behaviour. Forgiving everything from inappropriate or insensitive comments all the way to outright cheating. Whether agreed to or not, a relationship between a f-simp and the object of her simping probably renders her more cuckquean than fwb, due to her misallocated loyalty and faithfulness.
