As a western-raised Muslim man, the most taboo prize of all is a white woman. There’s nothing more riveting than being in a relationship (whether romantic, sexual, or both) with a white, non-Muslim, western woman.
The fact that my family & friends would be completely against it, the fact that your family would (probably) be against it, and the social taboos that surround such a relationship is a few reasons why I find it so desirable.
As a man who’s recently gotten into a relationship with a white woman, I find these discussions even more personal and riveting to have, especially considering my family don’t know about it. So I want to talk about my experiences as well as yours.
That is why I’d like to have a detailed & fun conversation about interracial & inter-religious relationships between Muslim men & white women. I’d like to discuss:
— Why our cultural and religious differences are turn-ons as opposed to turn-offs,
— What role faith and religion play in our attraction to one another
— What makes such a relationship more riveting than a “normal” relationship
