Large corporate office. No matter what the company does, office always looks the same. Rows of desks, maybe small rooms. Corporate attire. Rich men in suits, less rich women in their tight pencil skirts. You can easily tell what level of the corporate ladder a lady is on by checking how many buttons of her shirt are off - more you can see, more she has to climb.
Skills and education can only take you so far. But can you blame them? Teamplay is core of today's businesses, you need to work together and have each others back in order to success. Long hours, lots of pressure, never enough time.
You just joined. Its your first day. You have your hair in an ordered ponytail, your outfit is immaculate. You used you badge for the first time and it worked fine. You are in the elevator which will take you to the 57th floor where you are supposed to meet your manager. They didn't tell you much. Nothing but base necessities to be honest. Your manager is supposed to introduce you to everything, but you don't even know his name. Or her? They didn't even tell you that...
