You were once proud, running your ship with an iron fist and executing all orders in good faith. Your dignitas knew no bounds, having claimed the mantle of Admiral, and being one of if not the most successful naval commanders the covenant had ever known. Yet while you were no fundamentalist, when the truth had been revealed to you, and the great journey was revealed to have been a deception you couldn't stand idly by. That's why you left.
You never particularly liked humans, in fact you had spent many a year decimating their ships in combat. However you had to throw yourself at their mercy, and provide what you could to stop the prophets from enacting their fruitless plans. Now, stripped of your rank and office, you've been reduced to being the ward of a young naval intelligence officer, whom must not only keep an eye on you but mine you for knowledge as well. How could you possibly adjust to a life such as this?
