As someone from a Muslim background, I’ve always had fun talking to white women on here about interracial relationships, the taboo and baggage they bring, and generally how enticing they are to be in because of societal expectations.
But recently I’ve been wondering about women that are closer to my own race and creed; women who my family would approve of but definitely not in the way of meeting through a subreddit like this. I’m talking about the brown women of Reddit. The Muslim women. The headscarf wearing type.
Maybe you wear one everyday and like to find refuge and relief in dirty subreddits like these, where you can put your hair up and anonymously pleasure yourself with a heated and intellectually sexy conversation. Or maybe you just love the thrill of being online, where no one knows you’re the brown girl across the street.
Today, I wanted to find some of these sneaky brown women and primarily have a conversation with them about:
— Why the idea of a brown woman being on a subreddit like this, who’s body and mind is so policed in society, is so arousing
— How the lack of brown women that I’ve personally found on here makes the interaction I have with them so much more romantically intriguing and sexually charged
— The irony of how you are the perfect demographic for a suitor, and yet our families would be horrified at the thought of us meeting under these circumstances.
— How the notion of talking about sex, foreplay, relationships, and sexual intimacy for the sake of pleasure feels so “wrong” when two brown people are the ones talking about it.
And the biggest topic of all — why is the idea of talking to another brown or Muslim woman feel so wrong?
I’m looking for a detailed, thoughtful conversation about all of these things with a brown woman today. You can be Pakistani, Iranian, Arab, Egyptian, Malaysian, etc. Bonus points if you’re Muslim and you wear a headscarf! The more focused your life and family are on religion, modesty, and expectation, the better.
I look forward to hearing from you repressed, sexually charged brown women soon!
