<"When you expect it least, it always finds you." She read this quote earlier today while reading Instagram stories. It's winter, snow falling outside as she prepares for her date. Sun already setting as she leaves her apartment.>

"Oh!" She exclaims, quickly going back up the stairs to enter her bathroom.

Spraying a very small amount of her favorite perfume on herself, it's a summer-y scent with a hint of freshly cut roses.

Reinvigorated with confidence, she heads down to the communal lobby again.
One look through the door reveals snow, it sits high enough to the sidewalk look like a winter-wonderland.

Luckily my coat and gloves keep me warm as I head out to the bus stop, driving the car now didn't feel quite right.
We talked about meeting at restaurant Terra del Melo, as I walk inside your warm smile gazes at me.

They've been best friends for as long as either of them can remember, dating was drastically changing their relationship. The waiter takes her coat before he shows her to his table, seating her with him.

"N-Now this is new.. I already fancied seeing you here" she says quasi-nervously.
"Luckily for you, I was waiting for someone that looks exactly like you.. perhaps they cancelled?" he says jokingly.

Opening up their menu's, conversation starts to flow. Work, friends and life all come up. As the waiter comes back to take their order he offers to order both of them a glass of white wine alongside their choices.

"Thank you, that'll help warm us up a little!" she exclaims with a content smile.
Their food is delivered after a while, it smells heavenly and as they start to enjoy their meal it's clear the lovely smell is due to lovely taste as well.

You offer me to drive me home, perhaps we get stuck and need to keep warm.

We might just feel a hint of teenager-butterflies and decide to use the camping equipment you carry in your car for a very exciting but freezing cold evening out in the local forest. You've had a few drinks after-all so it might seem like the sensible option.
