Hello there in dirty penpals land. I am looking for someone that would like to write in a specific style with me. I’ll say it. I’m not great at chatting all the time. Sometimes sure. But things can fizzle out with short answers from one party or the other or having sexy stories told in little inch sized paragraphs at a time. I would like something a little different. A penpal really.

I am imagining that we write to each other as if we were writing an email or a love letter. Full on paragraphs and a sign off and then wait for the response. Hope for the response. If we decided to add chats into it that is fine but would be fun to keep it in character. A chat is basically a text between us. A Reddit message an email. I think this conceit in the way the communication is delivered would help keep the story and the imagined world alive between two people. Certainly we can pretend to be someone other than ourselves. While I’m a fun guy I do like to be someone else from time to time.

Some ideas A former teacher and student reconnect over a shared interest in a subject. An email out of the blue starts up something. Is it risqué or taboo, sweet but with some guilt mixed in?

Two lovers separated and foregoing the usual zoom chats for the written word. Maybe someone has spotty internet overseas. Maybe it’s a long business trip. Alternatively two old lovers reconnecting after a chance encounter.

Strangers meeting either on a dating platform or through an old school personals ad. Possibly someone getting a mixed up postcard to the wrong address and reaching out to inform the sender only to find there is a connection there.

I am open to taking this in many directions. My limits are no underage stuff. It’s a red line. I’m ok with taboo and even dark but just not that far. I like romance. I like no romance. Cheating. Loving relationships. Whatever. If it sounds fun to you and you’re into it I probably would be too.
