You should have seen the looks and exclaims I heard when me and my husband arrived at the tailgate for the season opener.
Every year we tailgated with the same group of friends from college, for 15 years now. It’s a great time. The boys grill, the girls take Jell-O shots and we pregame like it’s old times.
But in the time since the last game, I had been in the gym. Like, always. I finally lost the baby weight and gained definition in my abs I had not had since I was 19. All the stairs I climbed built my ass, and I was now getting new blonde highlights. The year before I wore hoodies and jeans to most games. Now I’m in black legging shorts, a white tube top with a cheeky double entendre saying on it to support the team, and black panda Nike dunks. A simple gold anklet just above the swoosh. My tattoo is even touched up, and half showing up my side.
Other than that, I’m the same old Alison. But am I?
